Are you up for the Challenge?
September 13, 2008
Has your team got what it takes for a challenging adventure in the great outdoors?
Is your team ready to push the limits and spend some time out of their comfort zone?
Can your team earn the bragging rights of bringing home the inaugural Great Adventure Challenge Cup?
If you can train with your team for a multi-disciplinary event, raise vital funds to bring happiness to seriously ill children, and compete against 10 teams from sun up to sun down, through some of Australia’s most beautiful landscapes in the lush Royal National Park – this is the ultimate challenge for you!
This fun event has been specially designed for work colleagues and friends who love both a challenge and the outdoors. The challenging race course will cover a range of terrain, from the bushland to the sea, including:
• Mountain biking
• Trail running
• Kayaking
• Coasteering
All sponsorship funds raised will go directly to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, who brighten the lives of seriously ill children, and their families, across Australia.
Starlight programs are delivered both in and out of hospital, providing positive distraction to children in their time of need. Each year there are over 600,000 child admissions made to hospitals across Australia. Sadly, Starlight reaches only ‘1 in 3’ of these children. Starlight’s ultimate goal is to reach each and every child.
“We take these
risks not to escape life,
but to stop
life from
escaping us”
The path we choose by James Freeman
